As a content writer for any of our blogs, you will be tasked with the job of creating engaging and informative articles that cover a wide range of topics within the chosen industry in the form of articles and blog posts based on assigned material and your own research.
From routines, how-to, and tutorials to product reviews and industry trends, your written content will inspire and empower our readers and contribute a positive impact in their life. So, you should be able to adhere to prescribed editorial guidelines without sacrificing creativity.
Requirements:
- Live & Reside in Ilorin: This is a full-time role. Hence, you have to be living and residing in Ilorin.
- Passion for writing: We’re looking for individuals who have a genuine love for all things writing. Your enthusiasm should shine through in your writing and inspire others.
- Excellent writing skills: Strong command of the English language, impeccable grammar, and the ability to write in an engaging and conversational tone are a must. Your content should be well-structured, informative, and enjoyable to read.
- Knowledge of related industry trends: Stay up to date with the latest trends in the chosen niche, products, and techniques. Your articles should reflect the current industry landscape and provide readers with valuable insights.
- Research abilities: Conduct thorough research to ensure your content is accurate, credible, and backed by reliable sources.
- Originality and creativity: Bring a fresh perspective to the beauty world through innovative ideas and unique approaches to topics.
Efficient use of Google Apps: Proficiency in using Google Apps such as Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Drive for content creation, collaboration, and organization.
Age: Applicants should not be above 30 years old.
SEO Skills: Familiarity with search engine optimization (SEO) principles to optimize your content for improved visibility and ranking on search engines.
Responsibilities:
- Write captivating and well-researched articles on given topics, as assigned by the editorial team.
- Create compelling headlines and intros to hook readers and encourage them to continue reading.
- Provide accurate and detailed information, backed by reliable sources, to educate and guide readers.
- Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate them into your content to keep our blog at the forefront of beauty discussions.
- Collaborate with the editorial team to brainstorm ideas, optimize content, and meet deadlines.
Please note that this is not a remote position, and we are only accepting applications from Ilorin, Kwara State. Compensation will be discussed with selected candidates.
